The popularity of electric vehicles has soared during the past few years. In an effort to “save the planet,” the government and the media have been pushing for people to start utilizing these ostensibly “green” vehicles. If one conducts the homework, the answer to whether or not the Earth needs to be saved can be extremely unsettling.
However, this article is not about corporate goals, government objectives, or Greta Thunberg’s opinions.
So is an electric vehicle (EV) necessary for a prepper?
And there is no question but “No!”
Numerous places online may explain the benefits of purchasing an EV.
However, one simply has to look at the COVID outbreak to realize how the general public was misinformed and misinformed.
In the past, sheep have consistently made bad decisions.
We won’t, however, stick to expressing our ideas.
Let’s support them with evidence.
You could keep gasoline
If you drive a car that runs on fuel, you can always keep a canister or two of extra fuel in your trunk in case your tank becomes dry.
What will you do if the battery in your electric car runs out while you are a long way from a charging station?
Some may contend that solar energy can be used to charge an electric vehicle. It could be true.
How long will you hold out, though?
What if you’re in the path of an approaching hurricane?
What if the sun isn’t shining and the skies are cloudy?
What if the electric car’s battery dies while you’re camping out in the wilderness?
The number of issues that can arise when in a rush to leave quickly becomes apparent once it is recognized that electric cars lack reliability.
EVs cannot go as far
Your electric vehicle’s battery capacity might not be sufficient to carry you to your destination. These cars are infamous for not having the endurance to travel great distances.
You’ve returned to the beginning once more. You must locate a charging station and wait for your EV to finish charging.
Imagine being in a rush yet having an automobile that takes forever to charge.
Depending on the size of the battery, a complete charge for your automobile can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 12 hours.
It’s similar to having to wait for your phone to charge before leaving the house. You don’t have control. You are under the control of these ‘devices’.
If you had a gas-powered car, you could easily fill the tank in a matter of minutes at any gas station and leave.
No fuss. There is no waiting. Every second matters while you’re trying to survive.
Not enough charging stations
More and more people will use electric cars in the future.
There aren’t enough charging stations available right now to accommodate lots of cars at once.
Even if there were, you would still need to wait 6 hours just to get your turn with 12 cars in line and 30-minute wait times for each car.
Have you ever seen a disaster-related evacuation generate traffic jams?
Numerous cars lined up along highways were moving slowly.
At an EV charging station, it’ll move even more slowly.
this will be a nightmare.
These cars and their replacement batteries cost a lot of money
The majority of preparedness enthusiasts will need to stockpile food, set money aside to get them through a disaster, buy weapons, and so on. Each of these costs money.
If you don’t make a lot of money, spending too much on an electric car will seriously strain your finances.
Gas automobiles are far less expensive and for a few thousand dollars you may purchase one that is used but still in good condition.

You are trackable and subject to control
Several electric vehicles come with functionalities that, if the manufacturers choose to, enable them to monitor your whereabouts and even disable your car remotely.
Do you really want to give these beings authority over your life?

If the trucks were electric vehicles, it’s highly likely that they could be disabled and removed remotely in case of an attempt to steal the money that is safely guarded in a private bank.
You are at their mercy if you drive an electric vehicle that is managed by outside parties and equipped with remote disabling mechanisms.
It’s comparable to having an uncontrollable kill switch in your car.
Avoid falling for that.
Being prepared means being able to endure and fend off ANYTHING that can endanger your life or freedom.
Your constant “companion” will be a car that runs on fuel.
An EV is a double-agent that will instantly turn against you if its creator determines that you are not according to their plan for you.
Despite the exaggerated advantages of electric vehicles and their capacity to “save the earth,” there are a number of grave drawbacks to take into account.
Is it necessary to spend so much money on an EV only because the government claims that these cars help to keep the environment cleaner?
You only need to travel to nations like China to see that you are being duped into thinking that “going green” is an international movement.
There are numerous additional objectives at work here.
By just using electric vehicles, don’t undermine your prospects of surviving on your own terms.
